This obscure 1970 soundtrack to director Henri Chapier's film is one of the top major rarities for any Vangelis collector. This LP has always commanded high values, first driven up by soundtrack collectors. More recently, Vangelis collectors have spent loads of money on this LP, a French issue selling on ebay recently for $899. The Greek issue, much rarer than the French, would probably go even higher. And then there is the extremely rare 7" single from France that was released to promote the album. While there are no words to suggested it on the single, it is speculated that the single was used for promotional use only and never for sale to the general public. Sadly, it appears that the film is not available anywhere. If you are reading this, and have a print or a videocopy for sale, please feel free to write to me. I always thought there would be a Jane Birkin fan out there that would have this film in their collection.
