Vangelis' 1980 album also provides the rarest of all the Vangelis albums. It would probably sell for $2000+ in the open market. Did you know that the See You Later album that we all know and love is not how Vangelis originally intended it to be? There is an 8 song test pressing LP of how Vangelis originally intended the album to be released. Two songs are only available on this record, with a third song being the track "My Love", which was actually released as a single (with an non-album B side)! The two songs are now confirmed as being titled "Fertilization" and "Neighbors Above". The 8 song version is more like a concept album, suggesting a life-progression theme. "Fertilization" contains vocals that describe the act of creation of a human. "Neighbors Above" is a rolicking track that reminds me of a bunch of folks singing in a pub! The last song is "Memories of Green". What is missing from the 8 song version is the track "See You Later". The lead-off single, "My Love/Domestic Logic 1" was released in several countries, and was the most extensively promoted single by Polydor up to this point. And then the 8 song version was pulled, and a new 6 song version was released without "My Love". Perhaps this explains why the album was never released in the United States.
