VANGELIS Reprise

Unbelievably, 10 years have passed since Vangelis signed to east west. To end his contract with east west, a compilation of his biggest moments from the past 10 years on the label are released as "Reprise". In addition, Reprise contains two tracks previously unavailable on CD: "Theme from Bitter Moon" and "Psalmus Ode (Closing Theme from The Plague)". It is a crime that Bitter Moon was never released as a full length soundtrack CD (may Sony will pursue that like east west pursued Blade Runner). east west continued in using the CDR as a promotional tool, which must be cheaper to produce than standard promotional CDs. Sadly, there were no CD singles issued to support this release, and it was not as successful as the previous compilations from Polydor. The solution is obvious.
