Out of the blue (for us anyway), in 2004, Vangelis became involved in a special charity project with his close friends, Sean and Micheline Roquebrune Connery, sponsored by the Athinais Cultural Centre to benefit the "Friends of the Child". Out of this collaboration came a special box set, only available for sale in Greece (very similar to "Foros Timis Ston Greko" 9 years ago). In this box set is a 127 page hard-bound book of watercolor artwork by Micheline Roquebrune Connery and a special single track titled "Ithaca", performed by Vangelis with recitation of the Cavafy poem of the same name by Sean Connery. A wonderful surprise and a great collectible. Several people have been asking me about how to order this new Greek-only project (read more in my News Section). In speaking directly with the folks at Eleftheroudakis, the main Greek bookstore that is selling Ithaca, they have provided me with this information. Contact them and place your orders!!!: You can order the set by sending an e-mail (exports@books.gr) or by fax (0030 210 323 9821).
