Roland Weißflog has done it again with this, a new find of an old single, dating back to 1969. Incredible really, as this 7" single is by Vana, who we all believe to be none other than Vana Veroutis, the vocalist on Heaven and Hell. To top that off, the A-side of this single, "Ed Ora Si", is a cover version of "I Want To Live" and the B-side, "Tu C'eri Gia'", is a previously-unknown composition by Vangelis! Vangelis also handles the production on this single. Well, I should be more clear. The label says "Papathanassiou". Could it be Niko, Vangelis' brother? Unlikely, as the label makes no attempt to distinquish between the "Papathanassiou" that co-authored "Ed Ora Si (I Want To Live)" - which we know is Vangelis - and the "Papathanssiou" that authored "Tu C'eri Gia'" and produced this record. Another nice find by Roland, who I thank for the information and scan!
