Yet another female singer that made the rounds with various Greek bands of the time, Maria met up with Vangelis in 1966 and recorded one single, "Caro Professore/Il Mondo Lo Sa". It is interesting to note that the Italian singers were as influential on the Greek performers as the British pop groups (The Beatles, Cliff Richard & The Shadows), as several of these pop songs Vangelis was involved with were sung in Italian. Vangelis continued with his love of Italian pop during the 70s. This Greek single is a rarity, and should fetch at least $40 or more.
