Here's yet another example why 2002 was such a great year for Vangelis collectors. Top collector Robert Eichelsheim researched and discovered another previously-forgotten Vangelis gem from 1973. The name of the band is Humanity. And in this forgotten band belongs Robert Fitoussi (aka FR David) and Vangelis himself, using the psuedonym "R. Broadbacker". This would be the earliest sighting of this pseudonym being used thus far. A pair of fairly straight-forward pop style tracks, "Bird of Love" also happens to be composed with Vangelis. What really has me wondering is the small logo in the lower right hand corner for "Lady Productions". Do you recognize this logo? It is there on L'apocalypse des Animaux. I wonder more about this...whose company is this? If we find more records with this logo, will they be Vangelis-related? So many questions...anyway, bravo again to Robert for his great detective work!
