In the USA, this Polanski movie did not get released into the theaters until 1994. Luckily, I remember finding the Japanese laserdisc even before the movie hit the theaters here, since most of the world got to see this movie when it was released in 1992. At the time, the Japanese laserdisc was a valuable Vangelis collectible. Now, with the death of laserdisc, it is only of interest to the hardcore collector. At last, this title has been released on DVD, and keeps getting releases from different countries. I wish somebody would do a perfect DTS soundtrack for this! I am glad Vangelis put the opening theme on his Reprise album.
