MOVIES/VIDEO Ace Up My Sleeve Frankenstein's Spukschloß

1975...a busy year for Vangelis. This film by Ivan Passer has a couple of other titles: Crime and Passion, Frankenstein's Spukschloß, Le Desir et Le Corruption. If you want the Vangelis' scored video, you must not buy the USA videocassette of Crime and Passion! His score has been replaced! And the USA DVD titled "Crime and Passion" that was released January 2001 is not even the same film. Vangelis loves disco, as evidenced during the club scene and the music tape that Joseph Bottoms listens to before...well, I guess I do not want to give any storylines away. The video is out of print in every country at the moment, and is quite difficult to find, so if you see it cheaply, you should buy it right away. Sadly, every copy of the videocassette I know of is in mono. However, the newly-released Greek DVD has "enhanced" the original mono soundtrack and created a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix (with, uh, interesting results).
