Bert van Breda, from BR Music, really has done a lot for Vangelis collectors. His love of demis Roussos is unparalleled throughout the world, and as the owner of his own label, he has been able to access Vangelis-related items and put them on the commercial market, that probably would have never occurred from the major labels. In 2002, he released the "Remember" series of DVDs with nice Aphrodite's Child video ,material. In 2004, he takes a look at the Dutch pop charts and has released the "40 Jaar Top 40" series of CD/DVD sets, and again, we get to benefit! There are three sets in particular that collectors will want. The "1967-1968" series includes "Rain and Tears" by Aphrodite's Child. The "1979-1980" series includes the video for the Jon and Vangelis hit "I Hear You Now" (sadly, not complete, but better than nothing!). The "1981-1982" series includes the video for Jon and Vangelis' "I'll Find My Way Home" (watch Vangelis hammering away on that piano!!!) and the Jon and Vangelis cover of "State of Independence" performed by Donna Summer. Bert, I am very thankful for your hard work in compiling these new sets!!!!
