Jon Anderson and Vangelis, together again after the success of "So Long Ago, So Clear" from the Heaven and Hell album. Their first album was released in 1979 on Polydor as part of his contract with them. The two created "spont" rock, spontaneous compositions of excellent pop songs. What a magical time! I actually get a little choked up every time I hear "I Hear You Now", because it transports me back to a simpler moment in time, when I was still young and innocent. From a collector's standpoint, "I Hear You Now" provided the single, along with some other promotional materials. At least at this point and time, Polydor in the USA tried to promote the release. They were much more successful in the UK. [Thanks to Roland Weißflog for the scan of the French 7" with the UK catalog number andthe US 7" single of "One More Time/The Road"!]
