DEMIS ROUSSOS Reflection

Vangelis and Demis reunited one last time in 1985, and produced an album of cover versions called Reflection, covering such classics as "Love Me Tender" and "The Great Pretender". My opinions are biased of course. I really enjoyed this album, but Demis' career was on the downswing at this point, and this album was ignored, even though it would mark the end of Demis' and Vangelis' working relationship. Actually, perhaps Demis could credit Vangelis for a revitalization a few years later. Demis and Vangelis did a new version of "Marie Jolie". In 1987, Demis remade several of his old Aphrodite's Child songs and recaptured his success. Did he get this idea from his remake on Reflection? This album has only been released legitimately on CD in one country, South Korea, and is very hard to find.
