APHRODITE'S CHILD It's Five O'Clock

In later years, Vangelis would comment to the press how he soured on Aphrodite's Child because of the pressure that was placed upon him and the band to create more hits by the record company. Aphrodite's Child was just so good at it, as their second album suggests. It's Five O'Clock continued in the same vein as the first album, very pop-oriented. And the singles kept coming and coming. "Let Me Love Let Me Live" is a wonderful driving track, with a great vocal by Lukas Sideras! As with the first album, the picture sleeves for the singles varied from country to country, and make for great collecting. PolyGram Greece again provides the only legitimate copy of the album on CD.
