Since the demise of Aphrodite's Child so many years ago, a variety of record companies have re-packaged and re-released the many hits of this great band, a testiment to the lasting impact of their music. In recognition of Demis Roussos' popularity, several of these Aphrodite's Child re-releases occurred to capitalize on his solo success. Even today, it seems that the re-releases have more to do with Demis than Vangelis, whether it is super-fan Bert van Breda and his label BR Music doing some re-issue work with the major labels, or the major lables themselves timing the release to coincide with something Demis is doing (such as Demis' return to England for concerts in 2002 and the release of "Introduction to Aphrodite's Child" in the UK). For whatever reason, these releases have added to Vangelis discography, and are worthy to seek out. It offers an opportunity for collector to see some unique photos of the band as well.
