Like Ridley Scott, I guess Peter Weir is a fan of Vangelis' too. That is the only reason I can think of for him to include "L'enfant" in this 1982 Mel Gibson movie, while the rest of the score was performed by Maurice Jarre. Watching the end credits of the movie, "L'enfant" is mentioned as an additional piece of source music, but it never states that it is performed by Vangelis. This movie had worldwide release. I only own the USA DVD at the moment, so I need a lot of help in filling up the information on this page. Please send your submissions to me!
