VANGELIS Invisible Connections

Vangelis' last album for his contract with Polydor would end up released on the Deutsche Grammaphon label. I have made many arguments supporting this album over the years, especially on the Vangelis internet mailing list Direct. I cannot understand how so many people have criticized this album as unlistenable, yet so many people clamoured for a Blade Runner soundtrack with all the cues. I find those releases very similar. Much of Blade Runner was "mood" music. Dark and dreary. The track "Invisible Connections" is his most unnerving track of the 80s. Sadly, he has not released anything like this album since. The album has not had widespread release, and is getting hard to find. The CD sells for higher that expected prices on ebay. Try to get the remastered Japanese CD if you can.
