Aleka Kanelidou remains a very popular singer in her country of Greece, starting her career in the mid 1960s, singing pop songs in English. In 1967, she recording one single with our beloved Vangelis, "The More I See You/Stranger". She has a very convincing accent. She and Vangelis would work together again on a Greek movie soundtrack, Frenzy (unreleased), providing the vocals to the track "I Remember the Day" (also unreleased). She actually appears in the movie to sing the track. As for the Greek single, it is another serious rarity, and won't be had for less than $40, if it can be had at that price at all.
